  • The Australian Agency for International Development

    AusAID is the Australian government’s program manager, providing aid to developing countries to reduce poverty and encourage sustainable growth. AusAID is headquartered at Canberra and has representatives in 25 Australian diplomatic mission overseas.

  • International Finance Corporation

    IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, offers investment services that develop new financial products for risk management and better access to capital markets. IFC also provides advisory services for private sector development.

  • Unique Identification Authority of India

    UIDAI’s mission is to issue a unique identification number to each citizen across the country for the efficient distribution of public welfare.The vision for the unique ID number is to effectively monitor the various programs and schemes of the Indian government.

  • United Nations Capital Development Fund

    UNCDF is the United Nations’ capital investment agency that “catalyzes private sector development by increasing access to financial services for poor people and small businesses.” (source: www.uncdf.org) It provides seed capital and technical assistance for economic development in the least developed countries.

  • Bank of Papua New Guinea

    BPNG is the central bank of Papua New Guinea. Its objectives include formulation and implementation of monetary policy, financial regulations and prudential standards, an efficient national and international payment system, macro-economic stability and growth.

  • Department for International Development

    DFID was setup in 1997 with fighting world poverty as its top priority. In its manifesto, the government elected in May 1997 pledged to create a new department for international development headed by a cabinet minister.  Among its key objectives, DFID set out to make global development a national priority and promote it to audiences in the UK and overseas while fostering a new 'aid relationship' with governments of developing countries.

  • European Union

    The European Union (EU) is an economic and political union of 27 member states that are located primarily in Europe. EU provides humanitarian aid through the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office or ECHO. Humanitarian aid is financed directly by the budget as part of the financial instruments for external actional and also by the European Development Fund.

    Papua New Guinea (PNG) Treasury, a department under the government of PNG, undertakes research and provides consultancy for the timely and effective implementation of economic and investment policies.
